Blake Stuerman, who used to work for the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' director, reveals in a new essay that they entered a sexual relationship when he was 18 years old.

AceShowbiz - Bryan Singer has faced serious allegations against him. The "Bohemian Rhapsody" director's former assistant claimed in an essay published by Variety that the filmmaker was abusive while they were in a relationship.
Blake Stuerman explained that he entered a sexual relationship with Bryan when he was 18 years old, shortly after their first met in 2009. They were reportedly together until Bryan fired him while making "X-Men: Days of Future Past".
After detailing how they became an item, Blake described an incident in which Bryan allegedly attacked a man at a 2012 party. "I heard loud yelling coming toward me," he recalled. "When I turned, I saw Bryan charging toward us screaming very angrily. He violently attacked one of the guests near me."
"I grabbed Bryan and took him back into the house. His eyes were wild and full of rage. I had never seen him like this before. We went to his room and he slammed the door. I found a shattered lamp on the floor and began picking up the pieces," Blake added. " 'I'll f**king kill you if you leave me.' Those were his exact words. I had never witnessed or experienced physical violence before meeting Bryan."
Noting that he felt "trapped alone in a room with a violently drunk man," Blake said that Bryan ordered him to put his phone away as he became "more and more aggressive." Fortunately, he managed to calm Bryan down.
However, the "traumatizing" experience and Bryan's threats made Blake live "in fear." He continued, "If Bryan found out I had hooked up with someone without his permission - without inviting him to participate - he berated me, and dangled my future in front of me. I wasn't allowed to date. I wasn't allowed to have sex with people of my choosing. He controlled me."
Blake claimed that "the mental and emotional abuse from Bryan would frequently trigger panic attacks." Until one moment he "collapsed from hyperventilation and was taken by ambulance to the emergency room." He also developed PTSD and severe depression following his relationship with Bryan."
Bryan, who has since been accused of sexual assault and rape by multiple victims, has responded to Blake's essay through his lawyer. In a four-page letter sent to Variety, Andrew Brettler called Blake's allegations "uncorroborated, inflammatory, and highly defamatory" and that Blake "simply has an axe to grind" against the director.
