AceShowbiz - Charli XCX had a dress emergency while presenting ARIA Awards virtually. Taking to her social media account, the "Blame It On Your Love" songstress poked fun at her breast-baring wardrobe malfunction.
The "Boys" singer suffered a wardrobe malfunction at ARIA Music Awards while virtually presenting the award for best pop release in a little black dress. "And the ARIA goes to The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber for 'Stay'. Well done, congratulations," she said in the outtake she shared on her Instagram account on Sunday, November 28.
In the clip, Charli offered a little wave to the winners before lowering her arm, causing one of the straps on her black dress to slide off her shoulder. Half of her dress then dropped, exposing one of her bare breasts. Her eyes widened in shock before she burst out laughing as did the cameraperson. The 29-year-old singer then said, "One more [take]."
While the footage never made it to air during the awards show broadcast, Charli clearly couldn't resist the opportunity to offer her fans a laugh at her expense. She simply captioned the well-pixelated clip, "Congrats guys!"
Charli was met with plenty of amusement in the comments section. "Loollll," wrote "The White Lotus" actor Lukas Gage. "Boops!" Aquaria, the season 10 winner of "RuPaul's Drag Race", commented.
"The girlies wanted to congratulate them too," wrote one Instagram user. In the meantime, another chimed in, "Her excitement to announce the winner lol," as the third said that it's "the best way to receive congratulations for f**king sure."
Charli herself is no stranger to nip slip. During her concert in Arizona back in 2018, she also suffered a similar wardrobe malfunction. "Omg my boob fell out song 1 can u even believe it!!!!!" Charli wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. "I think I saved it but I'm so so sorry if I flashed anyone I really didn't mean to I promise!!!!!"
