AceShowbiz - Brandi Glanville has given fans an update on her facial burns recovery. Revealing that she got a snow peel, the former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" said she's "hopeful" that the technique could remove her scars.
Making use of Twitter on Saturday, November 27, the 49-year-old shared a selfie with a product on her face. She captioned it, "I had a beautiful Thanksgiving with my modern family I didn't take any photos because I'm healing from a snow peel my face is swollen my left eyelid barely works but hopefully it will help with my scars from Covid and my burns."
When a fan asked whether she has contracted coronavirus, Brandi clarified, "Never had Covid. Just meant in the earlier months of pandemic I did a light treatment on my face for my psoriasis and I f**ked up the timing on it and caused burns and scarring on my face." She added, "Hoping this peel helps."
Brandi first opened up about the psoriasis accident in March after she's dubbed "unrecognizable" by a tabloid. Sharing a graphic picture of her face, she explained, "So this happened to me in December 2nd degree burns all over my face from an accident with a psoriasis light I am still healing & really didn't want to share these photos but since @DailyMail is attacking my looks her is the 411."
"Honestly it's not something I want it out there or I wanted to share at all and it was so depressing," the TV personality continued elaborating. "I just feel like I have to defend myself I'm still healing."
Brandi went on to lament, "I'm OK but you know it happened in December I'm still swollen and having people attack my looks just makes me feel like I never wanna leave my house and I just want to cry." She then noted, "My retinas were burned my eyelashes burned off I couldn't open my eyes three days the light was so painful."
"It was an accident obviously my doctor told me to hold the light over my face for 17.3 what I thought were minutes but it was seconds completely my fault," she concluded her message. "It was suppose to help the psoriasis that was overtaking my face from stress."
