The Spice Girls member has been axed from Adele's U.K. TV special as no one apparently found her sex toy gaffe funny as she was tasked with asking the 'Easy On Me' singer a question.

AceShowbiz - Mel B's planned cameo during Adele's recent U.K. TV special was cut.

According to sources, the Spice Girls legend choked when it came to asking the singing superstar about the best gift she'd ever received, leading to her making a racy comment.

"Mel was her usual brilliant self at Adele's Audience With but ITV decided they just couldn't keep her moment in," an insider explained. "She was tasked with asking a question about the best gift Adele had ever received but when the cameras were on her she said she felt silly asking it."

"Then she made a joke and said she could answer the question for Adele and said it was a vibrator. No one really laughed but Adele made a wisecrack about it and moved on."

"There's no bad blood or issue between them, ITV just couldn't air it because not only was it awkward as hell - it was a family show and there would be kids watching."

Adele's "An Audience With" special saw the hitmaker perform some of her biggest hits and new cuts from her latest album "30" to a star-studded audience featuring Dame Emma Thompson, Emma Watson, Richard E. Grant, Stormzy, and more at the London Palladium.

Upon its release, "30" sold more than 500,000 copies in just three days. It earned Adele the biggest sales week of 2021 and the top-selling album of the year, beating Taylor Swift's "Evermore", which has sold 462,000 copies in 2021 so far, reported Billboard.

Additionally, "30" has the title for the biggest individual sales week of 2021, surpassing Swift's "Red (Taylor's Version)", which recently took that title with 369,000 copies sold in its first week.

In the U.S., "30" currently stands at over 575,000 equivalent album units, once streaming is included, and is almost guaranteed the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
