Billie Eilish, who has collected two trophies at the awards-giving event, further brought fun to the event with a fiery performance of her single 'all the good girls go to hell'.

AceShowbiz - The 2019 American Music Awards is finally here, taking place on Sunday night, November 24 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The Ciara-hosted event opened with magnificent performances by Selena Gomez who gave her all in her set which was her first live television performance in two years.

The 27-year-old singer, who turned heads on the red carpet bright neon green mini dress by Versace, kicked off the event with her two new songs that were released in October. She first performed "Lose You to Love Me", a song that is inspired by her past relationship with ex Justin Bieber.

Donning a skintight black gown, the former Disney star showcased her emotional and mature side through the performance. The crowd seemingly was enjoying the set as they sang along to the track, which marked first track to ever top the Billboard Hot 100.

Following it up, Selena returned to perform her second song of the opener, "Look At Her Now". For the more upbeat track, the singer traded her black gown for a sultry white bodysuit with silver jewels.

Following her performance, however, Selena found herself to be the center of criticism as viewers accused her of singing off key during her performance of "Lose You to Love Me". Fans on Twitter were quick to drag the singer as one tweeted, "Selena Gomez really sung 'off key in her chorus,' " referring to the lyrics of the song that read, "And let it burn / Sang off-key in my chorus."

"Sang off key in my chorus is not just a lyric in this selena Gomez song but clearly a motto she lives by when performing. This is PAINFUL," another fan wrote. "Woah off key is right. Selena Gomez is horrible," added one other.

Back to the 2019 AMAs, Billie Eilish, who has collected two trophies for Favorite Artist - Alternative Rock and New Artist Of The Year, further brought fun to the event with a fiery performance of her single "all the good girls go to hell". Also among the performers was Ke$ha. The singer took the stage to perform her hit "TiK ToK".

Prior to that, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes heated up the stage with their hit collaboration track "Senorita". The former Fifth Harmony member looked sultry in a red dress featuring an open back. Meanwhile, Shawn opted for a black sleeveless top that he paired with black pants. At the end of their performance, the couple snuggled so close as they shared a mic. Taylor Swift and Billy Porter could be seen reacting so hilariously to the action.

The 47th American Music Awards is currently underway with Ciara hosting.
