The Puerto Rican artist is set to open in his home country a museum that is going to feature the history of reggaeton including his awards and memorabilia.

AceShowbiz - Puerto Rico reggaeton star Daddy Yankee will open a museum in the U.S. Caribbean territory on Friday November 22, dedicated to his life, work, and inspiration.
The Daddy Yankee El Jefe Museum opens in Plaza de Las Americas in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and will feature the history of reggaeton starting in 1991 as well as the artist's clothes, awards and memorabilia.
Taking to Instagram, the "Gasolina" star shared a post from the museum's official page, featuring a quote from the hitmaker on the purpose of his latest venture.
"I'm not good at giving advice, but I'm good at giving my testimony," a translation of the Spanish caption reads.
He recently set a record at the Coliseo of Puerto Rico with 10 shows scheduled in December - more than any artist in history.
Meanwhile, the musician's biggest global hit is his collaboration with Luis Fonsi, "Despacito", and its remix with Justin Bieber, which topped charts over the summer of 2017.
Entry to the Daddy Yankee El Jefe Museum is free of charge.
