During her interview with SiriusXM's Jenny McCarthy, the 54-year-old TV personality also addresses her 'up and down relationship' with her former 'Real Housewives of New York City' co-star.

AceShowbiz - While fans were shocked and saddened with Bethenny Frankel's departure from "The Real Housewives of New York City", it apparently wasn't the case for the cast members. According to Luann de Lesseps, the cast reacted positively to Bethenny's decision to quit the Bravo show.
"Bethenny is a lot of fun, she can be really nasty, but she's very funny," Luann said of her former co-star during an interview with SiriusXM's Jenny McCarthy on Monday, October 28. "And you know, those are the kind of people you get up for in the morning because they challenge you."
The 54-year-old TV personality went on addressing her "up and down relationship" with the Skinnygirl founder. "She's not an easy person to manage and I just feel like that part I'll kind of miss because it's challenging," she shared. "And you know, I'll miss her but at the same time when you're around her it's like walking on egg shells. I mean, how would you feel? You know her."
"I would feel relieved as hell if I was a cast member!" Jenny responded. "I don't like living in those kind of environments. It's unhealthy."
Luann then revealed that that was how the other cast members felt. "Oh, I think the whole cast is relieved in a way," she told the host. "And it also leaves breathing room for other women to shine and show their personalities. Because a lot was Bethenny coming in and trying to steal the show."
Bethenny announced her exit from "RHONY" in August. "I have decided to leave the Housewives franchise to explore my next chapter. It's time to move on and focus on my daughter, my philanthropy and my production partnership with Mark Burnett, producing and starring in shows which represent a shift in the conversation for women. With the changes in modern culture, I want to highlight the strength, confidence and unstoppable power that women have," the 48-year-old said in a statement.
However, she teased that she might have something new for fans to look forward despite exiting the show. "Thank you so much for your love and support. And stay tuned, you haven't seen the last of me. There are many amazing things to come. I love you all and am so lucky to have you in my life!" she teased on Instagram.
