'The Masked Singer' Recap: A Grammy Winner Is Revealed to Be the Skeleton

In addition to the Skeleton, the Flamingo, the Leopard, the Black Widow, the Thingamajig and the Butterfly are returning in the new episode of the FOX show to hit the stage once again.

AceShowbiz - The Masked Singer" returned on Wednesday, October 16 with a new episode. The new episode featured six masked singers, including the Flamingo, the Leopard, the Black Widow, the Skeleton, the Thingamajig and the Butterfly, hitting the stage once again in front of Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke. The night kicked off with a performance by the Flamingo.

She performed a wonderful rendition of "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins. For her final clue, the Flamingo said that she wanted to be a doctor and even went to medical training school. The judges guessed Ally Brooke and Adrienne Bailon.

The next performer was the Leopard, who performed "Stitches" by Shawn Mendes. Among the celebrity names that were thrown by the judges for their guesses were Billy Porter, RuPaul and Neil Patrick Harris.

As for the Black Widow, she said she had an edgy side in her despite having to group with a "squeaky clean image." She hit the stage to sing an epic rendition of Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats". Robin thought she could be Raven-Symone. Meanwhile, Nicole guessed Christina Aguilera with Ken going for Tatyana Ali.

The Skeleton sang "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" by Jet. The performance led Robin and Ken agreed that he might be Martin Short. As for Jenny, she guessed Paul Shaffer. Before going back, the Skeleton gave his final clue which stated that he was once inducted Black Sports and Entertainment Hall of Fame.

Singing "Rainbow" by Kacey Musgraves was the Thingamajig. He didn't reveal much but he said that singing was his first love, adding that he went to rehab. The judges guessed Dwight Howard and Montel Jordan.

Concluding the night was the Butterfly, who opted to perform Jon Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer". Her clue was that "everyone knew my name" at the height of her career. The judges threw a few names including Fantasia Barrino, Melanie Brown (Mel B), Leona Lewis and Twiggy.

Later, it was revealed that the Skeleton was eliminated. Before he got unmasked, the judges revealed their final guesses which included Paul Shaffer, Martin Short and Teller from Penn & Teller. The guess was right because the Skeleton is Grammy winner Shaffer!

"The Masked Singer" airs on Wednesdays at 8 P.M. on FOX.
