The 'Jesus, Take the Wheel' hitmaker allegedly turns down invitation to be the guest on the upcomin NBC show, which is set to premiere on Monday, September 9.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood may appear supportive for each other. However, if a new report is to be believed, the two singers are apparently feuding with each other due to jealousy.

According to Radar Online, the beef between the "American Idol" champions is the reason why Carrie turns down an invite to Kelly's new talk show "The Kelly Clarkson Show". "There were no explanations or niceties -- and Carrie's people just turned Kelly down flat!" spills an insider to the news outlet, adding that "Kelly was furious!"

The source adds that both Kelly and Carrie hold bad feelings toward each other. "Carrie was jealous Kelly got a coaching gig on 'The Voice' that she thought should've been hers," explains the informant. As for Kelly, it is reported that the "Because of You" singer has "always been jealous that Carrie's the bestselling idol to come out of 'Idol'."

Things apparently are so bad between the musicians. Neither Carrie's nor Kelly's reps have respoded to a request for comments.

"The Kelly Clarkson Show" premises reads, "In her new daytime talk show, Kelly Clarkson uses her gift of connection to bring viewers something new: a fun, energetic show that breaks with tradition. In each episode audiences will experience an hour full of remarkable stories, celebrity guests, spontaneous surprises, humor, heart and, of course, good music. It's like a weekday brunch party with a fascinating guest list of people who would otherwise never meet." It is said that Josh Groban, Terry Crews and Chloe Moretz participated as her guests in the pilot.

The show will also see the Grammy Award-winning star being accompanied by her touring band for her musical performances in the program, which includes a barn-like studio as a reflection to her "country roots." It will also be opened by audience-requested covers of various songs.

"The Kelly Clarkson Show" is set to premiere on Monday, September 9 on NBC.
