A clip shared on Instagram unveils a giddy 'Formation' hitmaker as husband Jay-Z and friends brought out a cake and sang 'Happy Birthday' in celebration of her milestone.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles kicked off her 38th birthday celebrations by attending the Made In America Festival alongside husband and founder Jay-Z over the weekend (August 31 - September 01).

The star has headlined the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania music event twice before, in 2013 and 2015. And while the "Formation" hitmaker opted to enjoy the performances from offstage this time round, that didn't stop her being the star of the show.

In a video posted on musician's Instagram page, family and friends brought out a cake and sang "Happy Birthday to You" to the mother-of-three, who turns 38 on Wednesday, as the festival crowd joined in the chorus.

In the clip, the star can be seen swaying along to the tune, before offering a giddy dance when she's handed the cake by Jay - who stood next to his wife with a huge bottle of champagne in his hand.

Following the celebration, another video posted showed the superstar couple being led through the adoring crowd, as fans pushed against barricades to get closer to the "03 Bonnie & Clyde" duo.

The "Irreplaceable" singer gave a quick smile and waved to the crowd, before the pair made their way out of the venue.

The Labor Day weekend festival featured performances from some of music's biggest names, including Cardi B, Travis Scott (II), James Blake and Lizzo.
