Racking up 88,000 equivalent album units in its first week, the 12-track effort becomes the Detroit-based rock band's first chart-topping album on the weekly chart.

AceShowbiz - Having been active in the music industry for more than a decade, The Raconteurs have finally earned their first chart-topping album. Their latest album, "Help Us Stranger", debuts atop Billboard 200 after racking up 88,000 equivalent album units in the week ending June 27, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 84,000 were in traditional album sales.

In addition to that, "Help Us Stranger" had the biggest sales week for a vinyl album this year, selling 25,000 vinyl units. While this is the Detroit-based rock band's first time topping the chart, they visited the top ten twice before. Their 2008 album "Consolers of the Lonely" and 2006 effort "Broken Boy Soldiers" were both peaking at No. 7 on the chart.

Trailing behind "Help Us Stranger" is Lil Nas X's debut effort "7" which arrives at No. 2 following the massive success of "Old Town Road". Largely driven by streaming activity, the eight-track record sold 77,000 equivalent album units, including 66,000 in SEA units. With that, it becomes the most-streamed album of the week. Billie Eilish's "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" follows behind at No. 3 with 57,000 units, while Jonas Brothers' "Happiness Begins" holds steady at No. 4 with 40,000 units.

Following Khalid's "Free Spirits", which ascends to No. 5 with 36,000 units, Lizzo's "Cuz I Love You" returns to its peak at No. 6 with 33,000 units as one of its singles "Truth Hurts" continues to climb on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Another new release in this week, Gucci Mane's "Delusions of Grandeur", arrives at No. 7 with 32,000 units. On the other hand, DaBaby's "Baby on Baby" is a non-mover at No. 8 with 28,000 units.

Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next" moves up one spot to No. 9 with 26,000 units, while Polo G's "Die a Legend" rounds out the top ten with 24,000 units.
