Days after he got arrested at Rolling Loud music festival in Miami, Florida, the 'Tunnel Vision' rapper has been granted his release on a $550,000 bond by a magistrate judge.

AceShowbiz - Troubled rapper Kodak Black pleaded not guilty to federal weapons charges in court on Wednesday, May 15.

The "Tunnel Vision" star, whose current legal name is Bill Kapri, was arrested shortly before he was set to perform at Rolling Loud music festival in Miami, Florida on May 11, and he was subsequently indicted by a grand jury on charges of making a false statement in the acquisition and attempted acquisition of a firearm.

The hip-hop star pleaded not guilty to the charges, and Magistrate Judge Edwin Torres granted his release on a $550,000 (£429,000) bond, but ordered him to remain under house arrest. The rapper owns a $600,000 (£468,000) house in Florida that will be used as collateral for the bond.

According to the Associated Press, Assistant U.S. Attorney Bruce Brown accused the 21-year-old of falsely filling out federal forms to buy weapons at Lou's Police Distributors. He received two handguns and a semi-automatic weapon, one of which was left at the scene of a shooting in nearby Pompano Beach.

Brown also noted that Black was out on bail in connection to a different case at the time of the incident. He is currently awaiting trial for a sexual assault case in South Carolina, and his bail is likely to be revoked because of the new charges.

Besides the Florida and South Carolina cases, Black is also facing drugs and weapons charges after he was arrested while trying to cross the border between the U.S. and Canada in April. That case is also still pending.
