Juice WRLD's 'Death Race for Love' Arrives Atop Billboard 200

The rapper's sophomore album becomes his first No. 1 album on the chart, racking up 165,000 equivalent album units.

AceShowbiz - Juice WRLD scores his first No. 1 album on Billboard 200 as his second studio album "Death Race for Love" debuts atop the chart. The effort sold 165,000 equivalent album units, including 43,000 in traditional album sales, in the week ending March 14, according to Nielsen Music.

In addition to arriving atop the chart, "Death Race for Love" logs both the biggest week and largest streaming week for an R&B/Hip-Hop album of the year. The set earned 120,000 in SEA units, which translates to 176.44 million on-demand audio streams. The set additionally sets the second-biggest streaming week of 2019 for any album, just behind Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next" which holds its second spot with 72,000 units.

Trailing behind "Death Race for Love" and "Thank U, Next" is the soundtrack album for "A Star Is Born", which is also a non-mover at No. 3 with 48,000 units. Meanwhile, Maren Morris sets her highest-charting album yet with her latest effort "Girl". The record arrives at No. 4 with 46,000 units. Rounding out the top five is Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" soundtrack album which ascends to No. 5 with 36,000 units.

Several hip-hop albums make its way back to the top ten this week, with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's "Hoodie SZN" jumping to No. 6 with 34,000 units. Post Malone's "Beerbongs & Bentleys" follows closely behind at No. 7 with 32,000 units, while Gunna's "Drip or Drown 2" stays steady at No. 8 with 31,000 units.

Drake's "Scorpion" rebounds from No. 12 to No. 9 with 30,000 units as Travis Scott (II)'s "Astroworld" rises three spots to No. 10 with 28,000 units. On the other hand, 2 Chainz's "Rap or Go to the League", Solange Knowles' "When I Get home" and Lil Skies' "Shelby" all drop out of the top ten.
