Even The Dictionary shades the publication for calling the makeup mogul a 'self-made' billionaire, tweeting, 'Haven't we gone over this?'

AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner has recently broken the record which was previously held by Facebook's co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckenberg. The makeup mogul has officially been named the youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes, surpassing Mark who reached the billion dollar-mark when he was 23. However, many people didn't think the same as they blasted the publication.
Even though many admitted that Kylie is a billionaire, they didn't think that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is a "self-made" woman considering that she came from a famous family. In response to the Forbes article, one said, "ah yes self-made billionaire kylie jenner, cant believe how far she's came from that little council estate in the slums of carlisle."

Using Oprah Winfrey as a reference, another pointed out, "Hi Forbes. This is a self-made billionaire. She was born in Kosciusko, MS and never attended a single private school because, whelp, she was poor. And now she's a billionaire. Self-made."

One other said, "Does @Forbes think that 'self-made' just means 'starting a business leveraging one's fame while sitting on family wealth' as opposed to 'just playing video games all day while sitting on family wealth' like seriously her bootstraps are made of gold." Someone else simply snarked, "No matter how often you write about this, 'self-made' isn't going to change its meaning."

Even The Dictionary shaded Forbes for the title that it gave to Kylie. "Haven't we gone over this? Self-made: Having succeeded in life unaided," it wrote. It should be noted that this isn't the first time Dictionary called out the news outlet for dubbing the Kylie Cosmetics founder a "self-made" woman. Back in July, Dictionary tweeted, "Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided. Used in a sentence: Forbes says that Kylie Jenner is a self-made woman."

Neither Forbes nor Kylie has responded to the controversy.
