Fans Ecstatic to Learn BTS Will Present at 2019 Grammy Awards

The South Korean group will come to Staples Center in Los Angeles to present an award, though it's unknown what accolade they will be giving out.

AceShowbiz - BTS (Bangtan Boys) is coming to the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Even though the South Korean group will not be taking the stage to perform their hit singles, it has been confirmed that they are named among the presenters for the upcoming award-giving event. Variety first broke the news.

It's not yet known what award the group will present at the show. Aside from presenting, BTS is also nominated for best recording package category for their "Love Yourself: Tear" album. They are up against the likes of St. Vincent's "Masseduction", The Chairman's "The Offering" and Foxhole's "Well Kept Thing".

Soon after the news first hit the internet, fans of BTS immediately took to social media to express their excitement to see their idol making an appearance at the biggest night in the music industry. "I am so happy for @BTS_twt for all your hard work and never stop in believing in yourself. Thank to you're messed of #LoveYourself I am learning how to love the person that I am today," one tweeted.

"Anyway, the grammy's ratings are about to triple. Everyone say thanks BTS," another said along with a GIF of Jimin giggling. "I'm so proud of BTS. They've come so far and now the GRAMMYs!!! I'm literally speechless. Talent always wins," one other noted.

Many others, meanwhile, couldn't help but feel happy for Suga since attending the Grammys had always been something that he wanted to do. The second-oldest member of the group previously said during an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that he wished to go the event. "You can dream," host Jimmy Fallon replied at the time.

The 61st Grammy Awards will be hosted by Alicia Keys and broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS on Sunday night, February 10. Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with 8 nods.
