The former 'Jackass' star, who has celebrated his 10th year of sobriety in 2018, opens up about how 'desperate and pathetic' his addiction was in a TV interview with Graham Bensinger.

AceShowbiz - "Jackass" star Steve-O once snorted cocaine tainted with HIV-positive blood.
The actor and stuntman knew he had hit his lowest point in his substance abuse battle after he snorted blood-laced cocaine while he was at his HIV-positive dealer's home.
"I'm in his house and over at the table, where he would weigh out all of his drugs, there was a very noticeable residue of cocaine," he tells "In Depth with Graham Bensinger". "And so I went over to the table to scrape up a pile of cocaine to snort it. But as I had sat down looking at it... you could see, like, the little tiny blood splatter on the residue."
"This is how just desperate and pathetic my addiction was - I sat there knowingly scraping up this tainted, like, blood cocaine. I sat there and snorted it, which is so f**ked up. I snorted the blood of an intravenous drug user."
Steve-O celebrated his 10th year of sobriety last year (18) and he previously opened up about how grateful he is to his "Jackass" castmates for staging an intervention to save him from himself.

"Hard to believe it's been an entire decade since I've had a drink or a drug," he wrote on Twitter in March. "I just can't put into words how grateful I am for @realjknoxville (Johnny Knoxville) and the rest of the guys who locked me up in a psychiatric ward on March 9, 2008, where this journey began."
