Simply titled 'Out of the Night Pt. 2', the song finds the 'Sicko Mode' hitmaker apologizing for sending his verse too late.

AceShowbiz - Christmas apparently comes early for fans of 21 Savage. Less than a week after he released his surprise album "I Am > I Was", the rapper unleashed a revamped version of one track off the album, "Out of the Night", which featured Travis Scott (II) on Monday, December 24.

Simply titled "Out of the Night Pt. 2", the song is heavily consisted of synth vibes, guitar transitions and heavy beats and finds Travis apologizing for sending his verse too late. "P-Pardon my lateness, this beat hittin' slap/ After take one, then just run this s**t back," he spits. "Say La Flame hot, no, I'm hotter than that/ Told you before, know this deeper than rap/ We been up-up in the cap, ain't no cap."

In an interview with "The Breakfast Club", Savage explained that Travis turned in his verse the night before the album dropped. "I'mma keep it 100 man, that s**t is so f***ing bad," he said of the "Sicko Mode" hitmaker's verse. "Like, Travis is crazy, man. Y'all know how Travis is. He's a perfectionist , type s**t. He's been working on that s**t for a minute, but he sent it last night."

The Atlanta native continued, "I was trying to get it, but they was talking a whole bunch of s**t that I don't understand - codes and some other s**t. But they're gonna get it on there."

"Out of the Night Pt. 2" is featured on the deluxe version of "I Am > I Was".

Savage released his sophomore album on December 21 with features from J. Cole, Post Malone, Gunna, Lil Baby, Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino and Offset among others. The new album serves as a follow-up to his debut effort "Issa Album" which hit the stores on July 7, 2017 and debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200.
