AceShowbiz - Hip-hop fans have been treated to a slew of Christmas tunes this year. After Lil Jon released his Kool Aid Man-assisted "All I Want for Christmas", Rae Sremmurd has now helped fans get into holiday spirits with their two Christmas songs. Swae Lee's "Christmas at Swae's" and Slim Jxmmi's "Nothing for Christmas" both hit streaming services on Friday morning, December 21.

The Swae Lee-led single is a meandering, piano ballad which finds the 23-year-old rapper regretfully reflecting on a failed relationship that's forced him to spend the holiday season alone. "I don't have you under my tree this Christmas/ But I had you all over my wish list," he croons over the piano melodies. "You're not under my mistletoe/ I don't have you under my tree this Christmas."

In contrast to his brother's breakup ballad, Slim Jxmmi's "Nothing for Christmas" is an upbeat numbers that features bells of the jingle and cow variety. Produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, the banger finds him singing about how he will surprise his girlfriend with lavish gifts after saying he won't be buying any presents for her this Christmas.

"Let me contradict myself/ I just bought my baby Chanel (Hold up)/ Even though she like to act up/ I took her to get the D-cups," he spits. "Baby say she wants a new butts/ 'Nother spring coming up/ Benihana's for lunch."

Both songs arrived after Rae Sremmurd released their triple album "SR3MM" on May 4 of this year. Featuring Juicy J, Travis Scott (II) and Future among others, the record debuted at No. 6 on Billboard 200 with 57,000 units. The group is now busy preparing for their upcoming project, which is expected to drop in late January of February.

Sharing details on the project, Swae Lee said, "Maybe about 12 songs. Just all bangers! With this project, I'm not playing. I'm stepping on n***as' throats. I'm gonna up the standards for these 2010-whatever artists. I'm gonna push the music forward."
