AceShowbiz - A movie location manager who is suing Johnny Depp over an alleged onset altercation has dropped his additional claims against director Brad Furman.
Gregg Brooks accused the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star of assault and battery on the set of "City of Lies (2018)" over the summer, claiming Depp lashed out at him after he revealed a night shoot was running late.
Furman and producer Miriam Segal, along with officials at Good Film Productions and Depp's Infinitum Nihil, were also named as defendants as Brooks sought damages for a hostile work environment and wrongful termination.
In August, Depp, 55, claimed he "feared for his safety" during the alleged incident, which he argues also put Furman's safety at risk, and insisted he acted to defend himself and others onset.
According to The Blast, Brooks is no longer going after Furman legally. He has also dropped some of his claims against Depp, but is still suing for assault and battery. The actor is fighting to have the lawsuit dismissed.
