When asked how was she feeling, Nonna confidently replied, "I feel fine," while laughing at the pain. "I've had a little bit more excitement than this." Marjorie opted to pay tribute to her late husband Frank Grande for her first tattoo. She got "Ciccio", Frank's nickname, tattoed on her her left ring finger.

They were also joined by other family members, including Joan Grande and Frankie Grande.

Ariana and her grandmother got the inks hours after the former took the stage in New York City to accept her Woman of the Year title which was presented by Patti LaBelle. She then went on explaining how interesting it was to receive the award as she felt people who was presented with the honor was "an artist that could be at her peak, reaching her you know, whatever."
