AceShowbiz - Kesha (previously known as Ke$ha) has released the music video for her contribution to "On the Basis of Sex" soundtrack, "Here Comes the Change". Arriving on Wednesday, October 24, the Jonas Akerlund-directed visuals sees the blonde singer perfectly belting out the political anthem as a one-woman band.

It opens with Kesha, dressed in a shimmery ballgown, carrying a bass drum and a chair to the attic of a regal-looking house all by herself. She then picks up an acoustic guitar and starts performing the song, bashing away at the kick pedal while strumming her guitar. When she's not singing, she plays a harmonica to fill the void.

Footage from the Ruth Bader Ginsburg biopic is also seen in the partial black-and-white visuals, showing Felicity Jones' Ginsburg through her journey to change the legal landscape for women. Elsewhere in the clip, Kesha finds herself in a staircase covered with photos of civil right leaders and lounges in a chair.

Kesha was given the opportunity to write a song for "On the Basis of Sex" thanks to its director Mimi Leder. "I wanted her to write this song because her passionate voice and immense talent magnify the social justice imperatives Ruth Bader Ginsburg continues to fight for every day," the filmmaker said in a statement. "It was important to both of us that this song be not only an anthem to all that Ruth Bader Ginsburg achieved, but also a rallying cry for how much more change is yet to come."

"On the Basis of Sex" follows young lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg (Jones) as she teams with her husband Martin D. Ginsburg (Armie Hammer) to bring a groundbreaking case before the U.S. Court of Appeals and overturn a century of sex discrimination.

Also starring Justin Theroux, Kathy Bates and Sam Waterston among others, the movie is set for a December 25 release in the United States.
