The Dave Meyers-directed visuals sees the 'Butterfly Effect' hitmaker and the Canadian rapper taking Houston by storm.

AceShowbiz - The music video for Travis Scott (II)'s hit single "Sicko Mode" is really keeping true to its title. Making its way out on Friday, October 19, the Dave Meyers-directed visuals sees the rapper and his collaborator Drake taking Houston by storm.

It opens with Drake walking down the street with a dog beside him against a solar eclipse background, spraying massive red smoke into the air and passing the baton to Travis, who pulls up on a horseback. He later transforms into different kind of roles, such as James Brown-like crooner and a professor. Meanwhile, Drake goes to another dimension and throws a party inside a high school bus.

As if the video doesn't get strange enough, viewers are treated to scenes of someone getting knocked out by a giant rock and a woman twerking on Drake's eyelash. There is also a scene of the Canadian rapper and the Houston native having their body shrunk while delivering their lines.

Swae Lee, who is also featured on the song, unfortunately doesn't make an appearance in the video.

"Sicko Mode" is one of the tracks on Travis' "Astroworld", which scored the second-largest first week of the year on Billboard 200, and is currently sitting at No. 6 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Sevn Thomas, who produced the song, cited the track as an example of the album's intentional amusement park-esque feel.

"There's all sorts of surprises and gut-wrenching moments when you hear voices pop out of nowhere, like you hear Drake on 'Sicko Mode' just come out of nowhere," he said. "Abel [The Weeknd] and James Blake and Frank Ocean just pop out on you. It's like walking through a haunted house or something. You never know what's going to jump out and grab you-I love how they captured everyone's attention."
