Netflix is said to be 'seriously considering' wrapping up the story with its forthcoming fourth season.

AceShowbiz - Upcoming season 4 of "Fuller House" may be the last season for the Netflix comedy. A new report suggests that the streaming giant is "seriously considering" wrapping up the story with its forthcoming fourth season. TVLine was the first to broke the news.

A Netflix spokesperson apparently has responded to the report. However, their statement isn't really a good news for fans. "No decision has been made about the future of 'Fuller House'; we're looking forward to the premiere of Season 4 later this year," the rep says.

"Fuller House", a new iteration of one of the beloved sitcoms in 80s-90s sitcom "Full House", debuted back in 2014. It focuses on the younger generation of the Tanners alongside their pesky next-door neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). It stars Candace Cameron and Jodie Sweeten as sisters D.J. Fuller and Stephanie Tanner respectively.

The story revolves around them, who reunited in their childhood home to raise D.J.'s three sons, 13-year-old Jackson, 7-year-old Max, and baby Tommy Jr., after the tragic loss of her husband, a firefighter killed in the line of duty. The series swaps the initial setup of the original show as three women raising three boys instead of three men raising three girls.

"Fuller House" recently faced a shake-up after showerunner Jeff Franklin was fired due to complaints of vulgar behavior and language within the writer's room. He also got complaints for giving roles to women with whom he was romantically involved.

Also starring Michael Campion, Elias Harger, Juan Pablo Di Pace, Ashley Liao, Adam Hagenbuch, Soni Nicole Bringas, Scott Weinger and John Brotherton, season 4 of "Fuller House" is set to arrive on Netflix sometime in 2019.
