In an interview with Women's Health magazine, the actress admits that she is proud she doesn't depend on her husband financially.

AceShowbiz - Kaley Cuoco is proud that she doesn't depend on husband Karl Cook financially.

The 32-year-old actress wed Karl, a successful equestrian and son of accounting software company Intuit co-founder Scott Cook, in June. While Kaley is one of the TV world's highest-paid actresses, she knows that her spouse didn't set his sights on her for her money - and vice versa.

"I like knowing, though, that I'm (financially) set, because I've taken it upon myself to do that," she told Women's Health magazine. "I like to tell my friends, 'Always make sure you have your life going, and that you're number one, so that anyone who comes into it - husband, or boyfriend, or girlfriend, however you roll - that's just an added bonus to something you're already creating'."

"I don't need Karl for anything. If Karl left me tomorrow, I'd be fine. And he knows that, and he would be fine too," she added.

Kaley placed fourth on Forbes' 2017 list of the World's Highest-Paid TV Actors And Actresses 2017, banking an estimated $26 million (£19.7 million) last year.

The blonde actress was previously married to professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting, but the pair split in 2015. She started dating 27-year-old Karl in 2016, and told the magazine that their shared interests meant they quickly knew they were meant for each other.

"We bonded a lot over having the same kind of outlooks on life, insecurities, dating," she smiled. "He comes from a very well-to-do family, so there's all these (preconceived ideas) of being spoiled, and blah, blah, blah. And he's just the opposite."
