AceShowbiz - Helen Mirren and Russell Brand's relationship developed into friendship after they teamed up for 2010's "The Tempest". Mirren was impressed with the brash comedian and has heaped praise on him since then.
Talking about their relationship, the actress said, "It's a funny friendship. It's not a friendship where we go out to dinner together or I go round to his house. But whenever we're together, it's as if we'd met at another time, in another universe." Mirren even said that Brand once gave her a pair of his underwear as a parting gift.
