Opening up about their bizarre relationship, the former child actor said that they first met when he was performing in the Nutcracker, though they only became friends when "Home Alone" came out.

"He was like my best friend growing up for a stretch of my life. It was a legitimate friendship," Culkin shared. "He enjoyed my youthfulness. He liked being a kid with me. It never struck me as odd. I never felt uncomfortable. That was just the way he was." He also said that he slept in Jackson's bedroom so many times and there was never improper behavior on the part of the singer.
