AceShowbiz - A faux royal couple is heading to "Modern Family". The production of the show's new season is currently underway in Los Angeles and some photos from the set saw Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet donning their costumes for the comedy's Halloween episode, and they are so hilarious.

Ferguson's Mitchell Pritchett was photographed posing as Prince Harry in traditional British uniform. His natural ginger hair made him look convincing as the Duke of the Sussex.

Meanwhile, Stonestreet recreated the style of Meghan Markle during the 2018 Trooping the Colour parade in June. The Cameron Tucker depicter sported a dark brunette wig and a pink off-the-shoulder, buttoned skirt suit and matching hat. That looked epicly identical to the Duchess of Sussex's Carolina Herrera outfit and Philip Treacy hat she wore at the celebration.

The celebration, which took place on June 9, was to mark a belated 92nd birthday for Queen Elizabeth. During the event, Meghan made her Buckingham Palace debut after her and Prince Harry's May 19 wedding.

Alongside Ferguson and Stonestreet, Ty Burrell was also spotted on the set. His Phil Dunphy was dressed as a fly.

The set photos arrive just days after it was reported that the show would kill off a "significant character" in upcoming season 10. "We're handling some bigger life events in this season," Co-creator Christopher Lloyd said. "We do deal with a death, which is certainly a topic that families have to deal with, and on television, it's not easy to do because that's a heavy subject. But at the same time, it would seem unusual for a family not to go through it."

Season 10 of "Modern Family" is set to be the last season for the Emmy-winning comedy of its contract. He teased that season 10 will feature "a significant change in the dynamics of the family that people maybe thought was going to happen at some point down the line that is happening sooner than expected."

Season 10 of "Modern Family" premieres on September 26 at 9 P.M. on ABC.
