Not only that, the 36-year-old real estate agent and former race driver took along his fiance Lauren Burnham, the woman he chose over Becca, with him.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelorette" season 14 ended this Monday with Becca Kufrin getting engaged to her now-fiance Garrett Yrigoyen. Any Bachelor Nation would never expect this but apparently Becca met former "The Bachelor" star and her ex Arie Luyendyk Jr. before making her big choice.

The 36-year-old real estate agent and former race driver revealed on his Instagram account that he had a secret meeting with Becca at the Maldives. Not only that, he took along his fiance Lauren Burnham, the woman he chose over Becca, with him.

"Lauren and I flew to the Maldives at The Bachelor and Becca's request. It' a conversation that unfortunately won't be shown but it was really positive for all of us," Arie wrote on the photo-sharing platform. "You can imagine this trip could have been very difficult for Lauren but she has supported and stood by me in all of this."

"I thank and love her everyday because of that," he added. Arie also gave a shoutout to Becca, wishing her "all the happiness in the world and can't wait to see how tonight goes!"

Their meeting didn't make it on air though. Becca later addressed the meeting and explained why it was cut from the season finale of "The Bachelorette". "It was a conversation that we had and it was fine, it was us wishing each other the best and moving on with our lives," Becca shared to Entertainment Tonight. "I mean, there is just so much that happens with each week, and so I think what I love is that it focused on the relationship that were forming on my journey."

During the interview, the brunette also talked about her fiance Garrett. "I'm still nervous to say his name in public, I'm getting used to it," Becca joked, before adding that the pair used the code names Veronica and Vincent Bushelpeck before their engagement was made public.

"I wrote him a little note like, 'I love you a bushel and a peck,' and that's how he got that name," she added.

When asked about their wedding plan, Becca said that they "haven't put a timestamp on anything." She continued, "You know, we're just kind of going with the flow. It's not like we've set a date or anything."
