"My entire life my personal life is not for public consumption," the "Quantico" actress said. "Ninety percent of my life is for public consumption, but 10 percent is for me. I'm a girl; I have the right to keep that to myself."
Priyanka went on saying that her family, friendships and relationships "are things I don't think I need to defend or explain to anyone," she added, "I am not running for office, so I don't think I need to give explanations. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I get annoyed. Mostly, I tell my publicists, 'Let it be. Today's news is tomorrow's trash.' "
Rumors of their engagement first sparked last month, with a source reporting that Nick shut down a Tiffany & Co. store to search a perfect ring for his girlfriend. He allegedly popped the question while they were celebrating her birthday in London. According to the source, he proposed in a "very private and romantic setting with just the two of them."
After the former Miss World's winner gave her answer, the couple celebrated it with Joe Jonas and his fiancee Sophie Turner. "Everyone is happy," the source shared. "They are definitely a great match."
