The 'Suicide Squad' star channels the slain actress with her retro outfit and long blonde hair in the image.

AceShowbiz - Margot Robbie transforms into Sharon Tate in her first look from "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood". The actress took to her Instagram account to share her own picture as the murdered victim of Charles Manson in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film.

The Australian actress channels 1960s Hollywood beauty in a black long-sleeved turtleneck, a white miniskirt and white leather boots. She also sports long blonde hair similar to Tate's. "First Look," Robbie simply captioned it, adding the film's hashtag and official Instagram handler.

"Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" won't be about the Manson Family murders in 1969, but the slayings will serve as the backdrop of the story, which revolves around Leonardo DiCaprio's washed-up western hero and his former stunt double, played by Brad Pitt. The two are both struggling to make it in the entertainment industry "at the height of hippie Hollywood." DiCaprio's character lives next door to Sharon Tate.

The movie's A-list cast also includes Al Pacino as DiCaprio's character's agent, Burt Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins Jr., Keith Jefferson and Nicholas Hammond.

Sharon Tate's sister Debra Tate recently approved the film. "This movie is not what people would expect it to be when you combine the Tarantino and Manson names," she told TMZ after Tarantino reached out to her to address her concerns about the movie.

Debra is also pleased with the movie's new 2019 release date, which will no longer coincide with the 50th anniversary of her sister's death. The film is scheduled for July 26, 2019 release in the U.S., being moved up from Augustus 9, 2019 which would mark the 50th anniversary of Sharon Tate and her friends' murders.
