In the photos, Chopra Jonas wore a yellow and green sari with floral embroidery, while Malti matched in a mint green sari. Nick Jonas complimented them in a tan-colored kurta with similar floral embroidery.

The holiday, which celebrates the triumph of good over evil, began this year on Friday, October 31, coinciding with Halloween. The couple also celebrated "Diwaloween," combining elements of both holidays.

In a separate Instagram post, Chopra Jonas shared photos of her family's festivities, including a doorway photo where she and Malti wore coordinating red saris and Nick Jonas wore a light brown kurta. Another sweet image showed Nick Jonas holding Malti's hand as she walked outside at nighttime.

The photos also captured the couple playing with gold sparklers and enjoying a festive dinner table decorated with floral arrangements, gold plates, and pink napkins.

In an earlier interview with PEOPLE, Nick Jonas expressed his joy in becoming a father to Malti, saying, "That's a natural thing obviously that will happen. My daughter is the light of my world, and making projects that I'll be able to watch one day with her, absolutely a goal."
