The actress, who split from Will Kopelman in 2016, shares that she has quit looking for romance online for the time being.

AceShowbiz - Drew Barrymore hasn't had any luck finding love on dating apps and no longer uses the technology.

The "Charlie's Angels" actress has been married and divorced three times, most recently to art consultant Will Kopelman, the father of her daughters Olive, five, and Frankie, four.

Since splitting from Will in 2016, Drew has experimented with dating apps but has now shared that she has quit looking for romance online for the time being.

"I got off (dating apps). It was fun to try though," she told Entertainment Tonight at the Beautycon Festival in Los Angeles over the weekend (July 14-15).

During the chat, Drew explained that she was interested in the idea of going on a blind date. However, her level of fame has meant that her friends haven't been willing to set her up.

"None of my friends ever set me up!" the 43-year-old commented. "I've been working out there in the public since I was young so that myth of the blind date alluded me and I always wanted to do it so that was like a dating app for me. But then it's not blind on my side so it just, I don't know, doesn't work."

Previously, Drew shared that she wasn't actively seeking a romantic relationship at the moment because she was prioritising caring for her daughters and growing her Flower Beauty brand.

"My daughters are so fulfilling that I feel like my cup is just avalanching over. If love took on a physical analogy form, I'd be an overstuffed turkey or a pinata," she told InStyle magazine in December 2017. "So, I'm not really hungry for it at this moment. I don't think I would have ever known that I could be this content, this whole, without being in a romantic relationship. That would have been a surprise to my younger self."
