The rapper thanks God for his quick 'reflexes' that saved him from any serious injury during the car accident.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Wale is "thankful" after narrowly escaping injury in a scary car accident on Saturday night, July 14.

The Bad star was en route to Bliss Nightclub in his native Washington, D.C. for a gig when the car he was a passenger in was involved in a traffic incident.

Wale didn't explain exactly what had happened, but admitted on Twitter that his quick "reflexes" had saved him from any serious injury.

"Just got in a car accident and it could have been way worse," he wrote. "Man thank God for these reflexes cuz I was loafin in the back seat (sic)."

Although Wale was a little shaken by the accident, he didn't let it derail his concert plans, and hit the stage at Bliss Nightclub as planned moments later.
