The deleted scene of Temple Hill Entertainment's movie shows Thomas' running skills after Newt quips, 'Thomas loves trains, don't you, mate?'

AceShowbiz - In a deleted scene of the last trilogy of "The Maze Runner", "Maze Runner: The Death Cure", Dylan O'Brien's Thomas outruns a speeding train. Coming via Entertainment Tonight, the deleted scene occurs when he and his fellow Gladers sneak into Last City to face the vicious organization, WCKD.

The video begins with Ava Paige, played by Patricia Clarkson, instructing her armies to increase the security level throughout the city. She also gives instruction to cut underneath-the-city tunnel which Thomas, Gally (Will Poulter) and Thomas Sangster's Newt use to access the city streets.

Newt later quips, "Thomas loves trains, don't you, mate?" As they go down the tracks, Gally says, "Great, you're going to see another one real soon." Then, a train comes towards them and Gally shouts, "Less talking, more running!" Shortly afterward, Newt falls onto the track that puts his life in danger.

The scene is one of the deleted and extended scenes from the concluding trilogy which is set for home entertainment release. The movie's home entertainment release also includes the gag reel, a behind-the-scenes look at the evolution of the cast's friendship over the years.

The last sequel comes after a long time production following a horrific set accident involving rising star Dylan. As the accident left Dylan hospitalized, he needed very long recovery time.

In addition to the three actors and an actress, other stars who reprised their roles included Kaya Scodelario, Dexter Darden and Ki Hong Lee. Wes Ball directed the movie based on script penned by T.S. Nowlin. It raked in a worldwide total of $284.5 million against a production budget of $62 million.

The movie is available digitally on April 10 and it will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K UHD on April 24.
