In a dystopian future where survival is a daily struggle, a group of young teens finds themselves trapped in a colossal maze with no memory of how they got there. The story follows Dylan O'Brien as Thomas, a brave and determined boy who awakens in the mysterious Glade, surrounded by a tightly-knit community of fellow "Gladers." Each day, they send out runners like Ki Hong Lee's Minho to map the ever-changing maze, hoping to uncover an escape route before the terrifying Grievers, monstrous creatures that patrol the maze at night, claim them.
As Thomas grapples with his fragmented memories, he is driven by an insatiable curiosity and a sense of urgency to unravel the secrets of their confinement. Alongside strong-willed characters like Kaya Scodelario's Teresa and Will Poulter's Gally, he faces internal conflicts and the looming threat of the maze itself. With a tense atmosphere and heart-pounding sequences, "Maze Runner, The" immerses viewers in a world of suspense and action, as the Gladers race against time to unlock their past and escape the perilous labyrinth that holds their fate.
