The 'Green Light' singer seems to suggest that she is no longer part of the 'Bad Blood' singer's squad following her controversial remarks about their friendship earlier this year.

Lorde has been friends with Taylor Swift since her early career, but now she seems to distance herself from the singer and her squad. In an interview with David Koch on Australian breakfast show "Sunrise", the "Royals" hitmaker hints at being no longer in Taylor's circle.
"The second you think too hard about it, you'll go insane," Lorde says when asked about having famous friends like Taylor and Beyonce Knowles. "It's best to be like, 'We're in wonderland and it's just what happens around here.' I don't hang out with these people at all."
When the host presses her about the infamous Taylor squad, the New Zealand singer/songwriter cringes as she explains, "You know, you make friends in different places, but I think for the most part I'm not, like, calling my idols for advice necessarily."
Lorde became friends with Taylor Swift after American Music Awards in 2014. "She sent me some flowers [after the show], which was so nice," Lorde told Jimmy Fallon. "She just sent them to my house and said, like, 'Congratulations on everything.' I was like, 'God, I need to know more!' "
Earlier this year, Lorde faced backlash from Taylor's loyalists. "It's like having a friend with very specific allergies," she told The Guardian about her friendship with the "Blank Space" singer. "There are certain places you can't go together. Certain things you can't do. There are these different sets of considerations within the friendship. It's like having a friend with an autoimmune disease."
Lorde later apologized on Twitter, "Didn't mention Taylor, but regardless, I f**ked up and that was really insensitive. I'm sorry."
Taylor has gone elusive as she's reportedly working on her new studio album. Her feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reignited last year. She slammed Kanye for calling her "b***h" in his song, but the rapper insisted he had asked for her permission. Kim later exposed a secretly-taped phone conversation between Taylor and Kanye. While she kept low profile, her catfight with Katy Perry continued earlier this year when Katy dropped a diss track "Swish Swish" in response to Taylor's 2014 "Bad Blood".
