AceShowbiz - Emmy Rossum and Sam Esmail are officially wife and husband. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in New York City on Sunday, May 28. Robert Downey Jr., William H. Macy, Hilary Swank and "Mr. Robot" stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater and Charly Chaikin attended the wedding.
Emmy was wearing an off-shoulder white gown and a white veil while Sam was wearing a black suit. The newlyweds looked beyond happy as they exited the church hand-in-hand. Emmy was seen holding a flower bouquet as she walked down the stairs, smiling brightly to the guests outside.
Hilary congratulated her pal on Twitter hours before her wedding. "Wishing you nothing but a lifetime of love and happiness @emmyrossum! You will be the most beautiful bride... Congratulations!" she wrote, before adding, "Love this pic of us. Shows the [heart eyed emoji] in my eyes for you."

Prior to the ceremony, Emmy and Sam were spotted having dinner with friends and family in New York City on Friday, May 26. In some photos obtained by PEOPLE, the "Shameless" star donned a red cocktail dress and strapped heels. Sam sported a gray suit and black shoes.
The two started dating after working together on Sam's 2014 romantic dramedy "Comet", which also starred Justin Long. They got engaged in August 2015. However, when asked whether she would get married soon, Emmy said that she only wanted to enjoy the moment. "We're just chilling for a hot second," the 30-year-old actress shared. "I'm not even answering my family who asks me. I know everything. I'm just not sharing it... I'm honestly just chilling and enjoying it for now."
