After learning of Nicki's breakup with Meek Mill, Drizzy sent the raptress some text messages to make sure she's fine and let her know that he still cares about her.

AceShowbiz - Drake is thrilled to learn that Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are done. The Canadian rapper, whose friendship with the Young Money raptress became strained after his feud with her boyfriend in 2015, has reportedly tried to reconnect with her by sending a few text messages.
According to HollywoodLife.com, Drizzy immediately tried to reach out to Nicki after she confirmed the breakup on Thursday, January 5. "Drake shot Nicki a few texts after hearing she broke up with that loser Meek," a source tells the publication, adding that he's just making sure she's fine and letting her know that he cares about her.
"Drake's hella happy they're over but wants to make sure that Nicki's cool and that she's not hurting or anything. He cares about her and certainly wants to be there for her and be a shoulder for her to lean on and talk to during this breakup," the source shares.
But wouldn't Drake's new girlfriend Jennifer Lopez be jealous? The HollywoodLife.com source goes on explaining that Drake's "definitely committed" to the songbird and has assured her that she has nothing to worry about. "Things with Drake and JLo couldn't be better. They're going strong [and] Drake doesn't want JLo to feel threatened or anything," the source says.
After weeks of rumors, Nicki finally confirmed via Twitter on Thursday that she'd ended her 2-year relationship with Meek. "To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u," so she wrote.
