Julie Bowen has set the record straight on rumors that she's feuding with her "Modern Family" co-star Sofia Vergara. During a visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday, November 9, she proved that there's no truth to the reports by wearing Vergara's blouse.
"Every night I get a call or email saying, 'So and so trash mag will be running a story that you' - well this week it's 'you were icy to Sofia Vergara because you were jealous of her fame,' " the 41-year-old actress told Ellen DeGeneres. "So I email her last night, and then we talked and I'm like, 'What should I say?' 'Cause we're friends!' "
Bowen added, "She goes, 'Please just borrow my blouse.' So I'm borrowing her blouse." The Claire Dunphy depicter went on saying, "You don't have to have the truth anymore, you just have to have the internet. You can just make up anything."
Meanwhile, Sofia Vergara has recently filmed "Modern Family" scenes with guest star Peyton Manning. The former NFL star will play Coach Gary, the sports tutor of Jay (Ed O'Neil) and Gloria's (Vergara) toddler son Joe.
Vergara shared some set pictures featuring Manning, jokingly captioning one of them with "Uggh #peytonmanning photobombing my pic."
