The two former contestants of 'The Celebrity Apprentice' take it to Twitter to respond to Donald Trump's derogatory comments.

AceShowbiz - %cLil Jon% and %cMarlee Matlin% broke their silence on %cDonald Trump% after it was revealed that the Republican presidential candidate made derogatory comments about them on "The Celebrity Apprentice". Trump referred to Jon as "Uncle Tom" and called Matlin who's deaf "retarded."

"When this 'Uncle Tom' incident happened on Celebrity Apprentice in the boardroom several of my cast mates and I addressed Mr. Trump immediately when we heard the comment," Lil Jon tweeted. "I can't say if he knew what he was actually saying or not but he did stop using that term once we explained it's offensiveness."

The rapper added, "I also want to be clear that I don't agree with many of the statements Mr. Trump has said during his current run for President."

Marlee Matlin also took to Twitter to address the issue. "The term is abhorrent and should never be used. The fact that we are talking about this during a very important moment in American history has upset me deeply," she wrote.

"So what's my response? It's not about insults or taking each other down. As a person who is Deaf, as a woman, as a mom, as a wife, as an actor, I have a voice. And I'm using that voice to make myself heard...and vote," she continued.
