The 'Boy Meets World' spin-off, which sees Cory and Topanga's daughter Riley learning life lessons while growing up, will debut June 27 on Disney Channel.

Disney Channel has finally announced the premiere date for "Girl Meets World". The new series will launch Friday, June 27, at 9:45 P.M. following the premiere of original TV movie "Zapped" starring Zendaya Coleman at 8 P.M. The show will take a week off before launching on its regular time slot on Friday, July 11 at 8:30 P.M.
Along with the premiere date, the "Boy Meets World" spin-off has got its first trailer released as well. It shows the life of Riley Matthews, the young daughter of Cory and Topanga, at home and school, where her father works as a teacher.
Rowan Blanchard is cast as Riley, and Sabrina Carpenter stars as Maya, who is the Shawn Hunter to Cory. Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga respectively, with some other original stars like Rider Strong, William Russ and Betsy Randle slated to return for a holiday episode.
In anticipation of "Girl Meets World" debut, Disney Channel plans a four-hour "Boy Meets World" marathon on Sunday, June 15 hosted by Savage and Fishel.
