More winners at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards were revealed as its live telecast was ongoing at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night, April 1. Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson and Scotty McCreery were among the latest musicians who got prizes at the event.

After winning Vocal Event of the Year for "Don't You Wanna Stay", Jason and Kelly added one more ACM award to their collection by grabbing Single Record of the Year for the same song. The country music crooner recalled the moment he decided to add a female featured guest, while the winner of "American Idol" inaugural season expressed her gratitude for the support she got from the pop world.

"I kind of thought it needed a female vocal on it, and Kelly was the first name I threw out, and I'm really glad I did, because she came in and made a great song, and just took it to a new place," Jason shared to the star-studded audience. Kelly chimed in, "Thank you all so much for welcoming me from the pop world."

Scotty, meanwhile, took home fans-voted New Artist of the Year title. The season 10 winner of "American Idol" won over two other country music newbies, Brantley Gilbert and Hunter Hayes. Thanking Jesus and country music community, he additionally said, "I've got to thank the fans - you guys are incredible!"
