ted Synopsis

news-details

In a foul-mouthed return to his origins, the once-famous, now-forgotten teddy bear Ted lives a decidedly unglamorous life with his best friend and former wish-maker, John Bennett. Voiced by creator Seth MacFarlane, Ted is a crude, pot-smoking relic of 90s fame, navigating the mundane challenges of adulthood in the Boston suburbs alongside a now-teenage John, played by Max Burkholder. Their chaotic, co-dependent existence is a constant source of tension for John's patient but exasperated mother, Susan, portrayed by Alanna Ubach. The series dives into the messy, often hilarious struggles of John's teenage years, from high school anxieties to first loves, all filtered through the wildly inappropriate perspective of his living teddy bear. With Scott Grimes and Giorgia Whigham rounding out the dysfunctional family unit, this raunchy comedy explores the pains of growing up and the questionable comfort of never truly leaving childhood behind, all while delivering the signature irreverent humor that made the character a phenomenon.
