Synopsis

Dick and Angela come into the city and Dick hears that Sam has the task of firing a fellow employee. Dick thinks it will be good for Sam because it will force him to be more firm and direct with people. Angela learns that Sam is showing the vacant apartment upstairs to potential renters and she decides it would be a great pied a terre for her and Dick. Angela explains it will be good to be close to them because she can help with the baby. Sam and Mel must prove to Angela that they don't need her help. Dick is reluctant to tell Angela he doesn't want to rent the apartment and Sam realizes that Dick isn't as firm and direct as he lets on.
