Working The Engels Episode 1.05 Meet Irene Horowitz

Jimmy introduces his latest girlfriend to the family - the soon-to-be-married former neighbor of the Engels, Irene Horowitz. Despite the strange relationship with Jimmy, Irene informs Jenna that her dad, Arthur, a lawyer and old friend of Ceil's, wants to pass along some clients. Soon after, Arthur struts into the office with his wife's amazing baked goods and a lead on a client for Jenna - famous designer Harry Le Maire. But Ceil remains focused on Arthur and their shared past. The sexual tension peaks when Arthur admits that their lips accidentally touched in 1992.

Desperate to outdo the tasty desserts from Arthur's wife, Ceil and Sandy create their own signature dessert - a very boozy rum crepe cup. Ceil insists they advertise with free samples in the mall, and in order to drum up word of mouth, Ceil eats the entire batch... and ends up rather drunk in the process.

Meanwhile, a nervous Jenna meets Harry Le Maire to play badminton and, if all goes well, land him as a client. Problem is, he's obnoxious - traits he puts on full display when he joins the Engels for fondue night, managing to offend both Sandy and Ceil with rude comments. Despite the financial advantage Harry would provide for the firm (and how Arthur might respond to her actions), Jenna erupts at the potential client and kicks him out.

The next day, Arthur comes by the office to speak with Jenna about the Harry ordeal. She apologizes, but Arthur cuts her off - she passed his test and recognized that Harry's not a client worth representing! He promises to continue helping Jenna... and on his way out, he and Ceil accidentally touch again and share another moment of high sexual tension.
