Third year resident, Erica Loza, is busy getting a patient air-vaced to another hospital to have surgery on a brain mass. Her superior, Dr. Moss, is angry with her for going over her head to move the patient and lets Erica know. Unfazed and knowing she put the patient's best interest first, Erica moves to the roof to oversee the airvac. She watches the helicopter take off...and disappears.
Our team starts at the hospital where Erica's locker reveals a recent flower delivery - accompanied by a death threat, making it clear that our missing person is definitely in trouble. Things looks even worse when Erica is linked to both missing hospital drugs and a missing patient. Our detectives follow the trail of the missing patient who was badly beaten by a guy they were stealing for and find that both he and the man who wanted him out of the hospital were once in the same foster home as Erica. Is this good doctor mixed up in some bad stuff? Or is she trying to makeup for things that happened in her past? And most importantly, will the team be able to find her before it's too late...
