After Marty asks Alan and Walden for their permission to marry Evelyn, they give him their blessing and throw him a bachelor party at a steakhouse. Walden shoots down Alan's suggestion to hire strippers for the party, but Alan hires them anyway. Alan's plan backfires when Marty leaves the party with two strippers and calls off the engagement, leaving Evelyn heartbroken. To fix matters, Alan and Walden approach Marty as the happy gay couple he thinks they are in order to show him how great love can be. They stage a pretend engagement which inspires Marty to go through with the wedding.
