A rift grows between best friends after Mimi learns Ana has been referring to her as her personal assistant. Ana does everything in her power to avoid a discussion, afraid Mimi will stop being her best friend. So when a light falls on Ana's head on set, she pretends to have amnesia to avoid the inevitable confrontation with Mimi, and then runs off. In the ensuing chase, both friends fall headlong into a fake well on set. Trapped overnight, Ana and Mimi finally hash out their problems.
Meanwhile, Rodrigo asks Xavi to rehearse for their upcoming scene. But Xavi never rehearses, since everything comes naturally to him, even the audition for his former boy band, The Basta Boys. Rodrigo gets angry, so Xavi begrudgingly agrees to rehearse at Rodrigo's apartment complex, where a wild party is in progress, complete with an appearance by NBA star Chris Bosh. Instead of rehearsing, Xavi successfully tries his hand at DJing the party. In retaliation, Rodrigo steals his guitar. When Xavi confronts him, Rodrigo reveals he's jealous of how easy life is for Xavi, who stole his dream of being a Basta Boy. A true mensch, Xavi apologizes and lets Rodrigo perform a song with the band.
