Sophie gets a cryptic message from Judith, saying to be at her house at 4 o'clock. When she arrives, Judith isn't there, but Rick is. Before Sophie and "Mr. Ex" can figure out what's going on, sophie smells gas. They run into the garage and find Judith, barely conscious in a rented Bentley with the motor running.
They rush her to the hospital, where Matt says she'll make a full recovery Question is, why would Judith want to kill herself? (Especially since she still has the will to make every nurse in the hospital cry.) Matt gives the OK for Judith to go home, as long as she's supervised -- which means Sophie's on mommy duty for the night.
At first Sophie's worried about Judith, but when Judith insists on inviting Rick to join them for dinner, Sophie realizes this suicide attempt was actually a ruse to get her and Rick baack together.
she decides that if Judith wants to play the "suicide card," she'll up the "suicide watch" ante by taking away all of Judith's fave pharmaceuticals and her best belts. In a huff, Judith locks herself in her room, then sneaks out of the house when Sophie isn't looking.
A panicked Sophie calls Rick for help and, surprisingly, they get along really well. Judith shows up later that night and they discover she's spent the evening with a psychiatrist (on a purely professional basis) -- the first of what will be many, many visits.
Will Judith ever get over her Sophie/Rick obsession? And could the Sophie/Rick truce be the first step toward them getting back together?
