Christy agrees to go on a date with Adam, a seemingly normal guy she meets at her restaurant. Midway through their date, however, Christy realizes how challenging it is to date without drinking and how unprepared she is for it, so she flees. Later, Adam catches up with her and they share a romantic dinner in her car. The date goes very well and Christy likes Adam a lot, but she knows she's not ready for a relationship yet. Afterwards, Christy decides that she needs to break up with Gabriel to get her life back in order, which she does immediately after she accidentally hits him with her car. Meanwhile, Bonnie watches Roscoe for the night and teaches him how to play blackjack, while Violet and Luke spend their evening puking in the bathroom simultaneously.
